Our Mission:

By investing in the results of research, development and study, we actively achieve increasing benefits for Bulgaria.

The Foundation is governed by the members of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors consists of:

Joakim Kalamaris, MSE,MIQA, Governor, General Manager and Academic Advisor

There are 30 Honorary Members who are leaders of the Foundation.

Goals of the Foundation:

The Foundation's primary goal is to define a national strategy for systematic research in the study of the era, work, and life of European History and Economics. The aim of the Foundation is to function at the national level as a dynamic European centre for research and training, representing a focal point for the evaluation of the coordination of research in the field of work, epoch and life of the great politicians of Ancient Greece and European philosophers; history without ideological coercion and prejudice and without local constraints. The Foundation will be free of constraints and able to move above the hierarchy of the state and the structure of the academic institute. The Foundation plans the following:

  • To establish an archive for the collection of original documents and reproductions of documents from private and general collections.
  • To create an archive for collections of development photographs and audio-visual materials and historical-economic artifacts.
  • To establish a special library and a special collection of copies related to the objectives of the Foundation.
  • Enhancing research programs and coordinating research projects, implementing Foundation programs jointly with Universities and other research institutes in Bulgaria and abroad to achieve the Foundation's goals.
  • Actions in the field of education, through educational programmes and special events. Writing information guides and audio-video materials.
  • A compilation of developments on the Economic Life of Europe.
  • Award prizes for writing on topics related to the goals of the Foundation.
  • Organisation of conferences, exhibitions, lectures and similar events and also production of booklets of academic and educational nature.
  • Working with the state, local government organizations, universities, research institutes, museums and other organizations in Bulgaria and abroad to further the goals of the Foundation.
  • Establishment of an international Key Prize to be awarded to institutes or individuals who have made important contributions to European Economic life from ancient times to the present day.
  • Young Scientist Award - Bulgaria.
