The main scope of activities of the company SONEL MED LTD, Sofia is carrying out medical services and consultations, as well as activities related to their provision. The company has highly qualified medical specialists having long practice and experience in the area of clinical medicine, occupational medicine, occupational hygiene, labor security, professional pathology, physiology, psychology, ergonomics, industrial aesthetics, sanitary chemistry and physics, management and health management in particular.
- There are 3 main divisions established at the company:
- I. Occupational Medicine Service.

The Occupational Medicine Service has offices in different cities on the territory of Bulgaria, registered in the Ministry of Health, having local work teams. The offices are located in:

- - Smolyan
- - Kardzhali

The Occupational Medicine Service has a big number of specialists on employment contracts – there are 10 doctors specialists in occupational medicine (occupational hygiene), 10 engineers specializing in labor safety and health, physicists, chemists, psychologist, computer specialists, as well as other technical personnel – sanitary inspectors, laboratory assistants, technologists, administrative personnel, etc.
- II. Organizing and performing training sessions
- - Training sessions for the representatives of the Committee / Group of Labor Conditions.
- - Training sessions of the regulations for pre-medical aid, self-aid, and mutual aid.
- - Training sessions for the managerial personnel and the control body who observe the adherence to the Law of Healthy and Safe Labor Conditions.
- III. Control Body of type C (Laboratory for measuring factors of the work environment) – accredited and authorized for control of the indicators for electric safety, physical and chemical factors of the work environment in all sectors.

Thanks to the purchase of automated systems for measuring the physical factors of the work environment and the use of express methods for measuring the chemical factors, the work of the team is very well organized, prompt and precise, which allows a big number of measurements to be made at a time. The measurements data is processed by specialized software and they are presented in record forms, approved by the Bulgarian Service of Accreditation.
- Psycho-physiological Laboratory
- There has been established a psycho-physiological laboratory at SONEL MED LTD, Sofia its activities are in accordance with the requirements of Regulation No. 6/19.03.2003 of the Ministry of Health. The psycho-physiological tests are carried out by a psychologist who has a Master’s degree. They aim at:
- - assessing the mental, emotional and social competence of the person;
- - assessing the influence of the psycho-physiological factors and dealing with the stress at work ;
- - recommendation of concrete measures for overcoming the stress at work;
- - assessing the adaptability / inability to adapt to the specific requirements for work;
- - psychological monitoring regarding the dynamics of occurrence of the psychological processes in the work teams of the companies;
- - individual and group psychological consultations.
All test methods used for the assessment have well-documented validity and reliability and the foreign tests and methods are adapted and standardized for the Bulgarian conditions by the Institute of Psychology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. With their help the specialists find different sides of the basic psychological characteristics of the tested persons, which to a great extent determine their behavioral repertoire, as well as the different transitory states as the level of work stress, conflict relations in the organization, influence of the different labor conditions, the dynamics of alienation of labor, etc.
The specialists from the psycho-physiological laboratory have good practice in the area of power engineering for determining the suitability of the operating personnel of the main power facilities, according to the Regulation for technical operation of electric power plants and networks.
There have been held psycho-physiological tests and trainings in a number of companies and enterprises in the country!
There has been carried out psychological training of different types of work teams – managerial, industrial, and commercial, etc.
